HOW I PROPOSED

I had been thinking of the perfect way to propose to  Cynthia, but every idea I got seemed not to capture the plan I had in mind. So waited patiently until a beautiful day in May, Cynthia's birthday actually (The 19th May, 2013). I organized a surprise birthday to throw her off guard and I invited her friends and a few of mine. Fortunately, she didn't suspect anything. The party went smoothly as planned and just when it was about to end I picked up the mic to make a speech which she thought was a vote of thanks. I thanked everybody for accepting our invitation and called her out. I still remember the exact words cos they were genuine and came from deep within my soul. I said, "Cynthia is my sunshine, I call her my sunshine because she lights up my life. I have only known joy since I met her and I will be the happiest man on earth if you, Cynthia, will marry me". Then I knelt down and brought out the ring from my pocket. It was definitely a huge surprise, totally unexpected. She cried a lot and needed a lot of time to compose herself and after a few minutes she said 'YES!'. This is how I got engaged to the most wonderful woman alive, the angel of my life.
